Double Decker Living Root Bridge

Double Decker Living Root Bridge is a naturally formed bridge with Indian Rubber Tree named as Ficus Elastica. This bridge is a unique creation of Mother Nature. It is more than 100 ft long and can carry 50 people at a time. Umshiang River flows beneath the bridge and adds to its charm. It is believed that the roots of this bridge are around 500 to 600 years old.

Nohkalikai Falls

Nohkalikai Falls remain a must visit place in Cherrapunji. This is the tallest plunge waterfall in India cascading from a height of 1115 feet. Watching this waterfall descend from an unbelievable height is a fascinating experience. From here you can spot the plains of Bangladesh.

Thangkharang Park overlooks the Kynrem Falls and edges a cliff which gives it a beautiful location. From here visitors can spot 180 degree view of the Bangladesh plains apart from imposing hills and the seventh highest waterfalls. Also spot the Khoh Ramhah rock which looks like a life size basket but is made of a single rock. There is a designated kids’ area here where little ones can have a whale of a time. ��
